-WEL-Life at Alta allows local residents to remain close to their family, while receiving excellent care. Resident quality care comes first and foremost. Our home-cooked meals are known throughout the community. Our building is used for a number of community organizations, including Kiwanis, study groups and the community coffee on Fridays. We participate as Partnership In Excellence (PIE) with the local school system.

-WEL-Life at Alta is homelike and warm in a beautiful environment. The residents are encouraged to utilize all of the building and grounds. We bridge the gap between home and higher acuity care while promoting independent living. WEL-Life staff is knowledgeable and caring. There are plenty of areas for walking either in the building or around outside you can even play golf located right next door. Guest and respite rooms available.

Dear Mom, I recently toured a beautiful assisted living facility in Alta. Maybe you have heard of it or driven by when you have visited us. It is WEL-LIFE. I was very impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. The decor was warm and inviting, too. They have four different apartment sizes to choose from, three home cooked meals everyday, activities, housekeeping and laundry services and staff on duty 24 hours per day. They also have transportation to Storm Lake or Cherokee to get you to your various Doctor appointments. One thing I think you would really love is the West Links Golf Course that is right in WEL-Life's backyard. You can walk or drive your golf cart over to play. You won't have to give up golf and WEL-Life will do all the work. Mom, I think you should consider moving to WEL-Life Assisted Living.
