ALTA, IA – December 28, 2009 - WEL-Life at Alta, Iowa, and Lantis Enterprises is pleased to announce that Steven Mohr has joined WEL-Life at Alta as the Program Director.
Steven will be responsible for the continuous care analysis and performance measurements, with particular emphasis on customer satisfaction. With valuable health care industry experience, Steven is more than capable to take on the leadership role at WEL-Life at Alta.
Steven was born in Storm Lake and has spent most of his life in the area. He farmed in the Fonda area for twenty-five years and then made the move to healthcare, working as an Registered Nurse at a skilled care facility in Storm Lake for the last 3 ½ years.
Steven and wife, Jean, have two grown children: Jason, who manages U.S. Senator Grassley’s office in Waterloo; and daughter, Jayme, who is an artist and lives with Steven and his wife near Fonda.
When asked about his new position with WEL-Life at Alta, Steven stated, “I’ve always been interested in the medical sciences, and when my father and father-in-law became terminally ill, I found that I could assist in their care and add to their quality of life. Working in the elder health care field is very important to me.”
